Job Description

Location: Pune (In-office)
Duration: 6 Months
Type: Full-Time Internship

As a Tech Support Intern at Bynry Inc. you will play a vital role in ensuring our utility customers have a smooth experience with Smart360 our smart cloud-based platform. Youll gain hands-on experience diagnosing and troubleshooting product and API issues managing technical onboarding tasks supporting data operations and contributing to internal tooling and documentation.

This is a launchpad for anyone interested in technical support SaaS platforms and customer-facing problem-solving!

Who Can Apply

  • Are available for a full-time in-office internship

  • Can start immediately and commit to a 6-month duration

  • Are based in Pune or willing to relocate

  • Have an interest in technical support SaaS products and cloud-based tools

  • Enjoy investigating issues working with APIs and supporting product users

  • Have a basic understanding of SQL Excel APIs and ticketing systems

  • Are eager to learn new tools improve processes and take ownership of challenges

  • Possess strong communication skills and a proactive mindset

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 technical support issues

  • Assist with onboarding new customers and data migration support

  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues

  • Troubleshoot application errors API failures and system performance issues

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to replicate bugs and document findings

  • Perform SQL queries for data validation and issue diagnosis

  • Use Excel/Google Sheets for data cleaning analysis and reporting

  • Manage and track issues in tools like Zammad Zendesk or Jira

  • Maintain detailed technical documentation support FAQs and process guides

  • Escalate high-impact issues while ensuring timely follow-ups based on SLAs

  • Contribute to the improvement of tools documentation and support processes

What You ll Learn

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science IT or related field

  • Basic knowledge of SQL APIs or any programming language

  • Familiarity with tools like Postman Excel or Google Sheets

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Skills You ll Use or Develop

Technical Skills

  • SQL querying & data analysis

  • API testing using tools like Postman

  • Working with ticketing systems (Zammad Zendesk Jira)

  • Excel/Google Sheets for technical operations

  • Basic scripting or debugging skills (optional but a plus)
