Unit Nurse Manager (RGN)Hours per week Day Shifts

What Were Looking For

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with active NMC registration
  • Previous experience in a senior nurse or unit manager role within a care home or similar setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Compassionate approach with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Sound knowledge of clinical governance safeguarding and person-centred care

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team within your unit
  • Ensure the highest standards of care for residents with nursing and dementia care needs
  • Oversee care planning risk assessments and safeguarding processes
  • Support mentor and develop nursing and care staff to achieve their full potential
  • Work collaboratively with families colleagues and external healthcare professionals
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and best practice standards
