Seeking qualified candidate for a small diverseteam that provides end-to-end software systems and network engineering services to support Integrated Discovery Operations (IDO). You will lead evolve and maintain a dynamic modern DevOps architecture often based on open-source technology and not relying on corporate baselines to support software developers phased system upgrades compliance and improvements aimed at ensuring continued execution of the IDO mission. We aim to improve availability and reliability reduce latency and optimize performance while maintaining the security posture.
Job Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Design maintain monitor and support operations and maintenance (O&M) activities of a large enclave comprised of various hardware software and network components to include server architecture virtual machines managed switches NAS VLANs and VPNs.
- Develop and carry out strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture and technology with minimal impact. Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions
- Administer network including installing configuring and maintaining network devices; configuring various routing protocols; troubleshooting multi-hop connectivity throughput and latency; setting up firewalls.
- Responsible for secure infrastructure and vulnerability corrections data security compliance and backups and recovery. Maintain SSPs STE/STN requirements Netseer SEAR logging patching IAVMs McAfee and UAM.
- Responsible for user-level support including interacting with system-savvy developers and analysts resolving networkcomputer and virtual system issues & anomalies.
- Maintain enclaved documentation (network diagram system names IP addresses barcodes etc.); provide monthly activity report to include system outages.
- Familiarity with Docker MongoDB and Elastic Search; Ansible and GitLab; RedHat Satellite
- Working knowledge of software-defined networks
- Experience deploying and maintaining nginx; system monitoring platforms like OpenVAS Prometheus and Grafana; SELinux and FIPS.
- Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field plus a minimum of (11) years of relevant experience or a masters degree with nine (9) years of relevant systems administration experience. An associates degree with ten (10) years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED with thirteen (13) years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
- Industry certification requirement: IAT Level II Certification (Security CSA CCNA Security etc.)
- Security Clearance requirement: Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
- Desirable Skills: Knowledge of LatteArt/Biscotti Netseer SEAR logging.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $112450.00 - $203275.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
