As an organization Amazons JP Sales organization is in a unique position to be highly influential; driving dialog and nurturing opportunities with Amazon Customers Amazon Category teams and Amazon Sellers.

As a result of strong business growth within the Existing Sellers we are looking for an Account Manager to help us build and lead a business development/growing Sales for Sellers on Amazon JP by focusing on delivering sales inputs across increasing selection adopting features contract negotiation and discoverability of products of the Sellers. The role is focused on working with TopNew Sellers in Japan in SL categories (such as apparel Shoes&bagwatches jewelry) driving inputs to accelerate the Amazon flywheel. This position will work cross-functionally with the Retail Category Teams as well as Product teams across Amazons Seller business to ensure that critical feedback is provided to continue to influence the product road-map.


Core Responsibilities:

Drive FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) selection and Marketplace Prime selection by identifying qualifying and engaging with prospective Selling Partners based on a clear understanding of our Selling Partners and their needs

Manage a portfolio of Selling Partners concurrently and strategically to drive sustainable Sales growth based on a strong understanding of marketplace programs tools and processes.

Analyze customer data and make recommendations in order to maximize the potential of the assigned Selling Partners.

Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your Selling Partner portfolio. Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.

Understand and utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track all pertinent account information and sales progress.

Develop a thorough understanding of the Amazon Marketplace 3rd party services industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competing product offerings.

- Bachelors Degree
- 4 years experience in business role requiring to negotiate with the outside. e.g. sales/account management/business consultant
- Analytical skills with experience using Microsoft Excel (e.g. vlookup pivot) and BI tools.
- Fluent level Japanese both verbal and written skills
- Business level English both verbal and written skills

- 3 years of client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills experience
- Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights
