Schedule: Monday-Friday 40hrs a week. 8am-5pm in your time zone. On occasion schedule adjustment may be necessary for department meetings to accommodate all time zones.

How youll contribute
A Manager Clinical Documentation Integritywho excels in this role:
Lead the CDI program as demonstrated by assuming accountability for the ongoing success of the Clinical Documentation Integrity team for assigned facilities.
Monitors the CDI program and communicates with appropriate facility leadership regarding CDI Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identifies and implements process changes to maintain and improve KPIs
Provide Clinical Documentation Integrity education for providers new CDI staff new initiatives or identified areas of knowledge deficit. Track and trend program compliance to determine areas of focus for educational opportunities
Engage and consult with Physician Advisor and/or CMO to resolve provider opportunities regarding queries and participation in the clinical documentation improvement process.
Serves as a resource to Physicians / Case Managers /Quality and other key professional staff in matters relating to clinical documentation improvement
Participates in developing and monitoring strategic operating goals objectives and budget; and reports operational performance and/or corrective action
Builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor work relationships to optimize operations
Handle multiple projects simultaneously including task delegation project over-sight and resource allocation.

What were looking for
Required Qualifications:
Nurse (RN NP or graduate of a state approved nursing program) orPhysician (MD DO FMG) orPhysician Assistant (PA)
Minimum of 5 years of CDI experience in an acute inpatient setting
Minimum of 2 years of direct Management experience
CCDS or CDIP certification
3 years of Excel experience
Preferred Qualifications:
CCS Certification
Experience with CAC technology
