Responsibilities:
- Define Global Testing and safety standards monitor & manage the service provided by 3rd party quality partners
- Enhance Testing Manuals (including regulatory surveillance) execute and fine-tune the testing process
- Develop a process to monitor suppliers performance
- Perform seasonal review with key suppliers to analysis their quality weakness and implement action plan on quality improvement
- To conduct risk analysis balancing risks and cost implications
- Conduct product review to raise out technical concern at the early stage of production
- Comment on failure cases from technical and end use aspect provide recommendation to COE
- To provide technical advice for quality improvement and problem solving to both internal and external
- Provides technical support to vendors and mills liaises with counterpart offices as necessary to resolve testing and product safety issues
- Ad hoc and overall duties required from time to time to ensure work effectiveness
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Textile Technology or related discipline with at least 8 years related experience
- Familiar with US and Europe testing standards legal requirements and regulations; e.g. CPSIA REACH
- Good knowledge of textile and commercial textile standard
- Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese (including Mandarin)
- Travelling is required
