Position

Our team provides clients with flexible and customizable investments that provide investors exposure to a wide variety of payout strategies and asset classes. As part of one of Canadas leading Structured Notes teams you will be responsible for supporting the Banks distribution footprint within the retail wealth management channel.

In this role you will leverage the Banks structured notes platform to deliver clients access to leading ideas products and investment solutions. As s junior sales professional youll have an entrepreneurial disposition and the drive to win market share in a competitive market environment. With a limited hierarchy and a small team approach you will have ample opportunity for career growth and development.

What Youll Do:

• Organize and arrange regular calls and presentations which are conducted either independently or in conjunction with senior sales staff to promote BNS Notes
• Service existing client relationships and fulfill requests for assistance or information using Excel and CRM tools to track and analyze client activity
• Collaborate with equity derivatives trading and structuring teams to customize investment solutions apply coding and automation skills (e.g. Python VBA Power BI) to streamline proposal generation and product customization
• Stay abreast of current market trends and competing product offerings to provide clients with superior strategic and innovative product solutions
• Demonstrate accountability to clients by delivering consistent high-quality service and acting as a reliable point of contact for product-related inquiries

• Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
• Support the sales efforts for structured notes while adhering to industry regulations and best practices as well as internal compliance governance and general guidelines for conduct and behaviour.

What Youll Bring:

• Understanding of intermediary sales and the Canadian wealth management industry
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in internal / hybrid wholesaling structured products ETFs mutual fundsor other financial products
• Bachelors degree in business Accounting Mathematics or a related discipline
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Outlook); familiarity with coding tools (e.g. Python VBA) is an asset
• Strong relationship-building interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to pitch products and tailor messaging to diverse client profiles
• Outstanding presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel to distill complex ideas into clear compelling formats
• Self-starter proactive detail-oriented and diligent with a desire to develop business and continuously improve technical capabilities
• Hard-working and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of collaboration and accountability

Work Arrangement:

This position is currently an onsite role with the expectation that you will work 5 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
