Job Title: Assistant Manager (Engineering)
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform validation testing on automotive components according to various OEM specifications.
- Work with SEWS design groups to generate Validation plans implementation of the testing environment and execution of Validation plan and management.
- Supervise a group of engineers and technicians for SEWS Component Validation group.
- Make good work process and documentation control of testing based on ISO/IATF requirements.
- Keep track of allocation and non-allocation budgets.
- Analyze test failure data and utilize problem-solving techniques.
- Maintain safety and 5S housekeeping for the group at all times.
- Lead and support department activities such as work instruction.
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- 810 years progressive engineering experience along with 24 years as a Superintendent or similar supervisory capacity.
- 5 years experience with Testing and Validation on automotive components per OEM test standards.
- 3 years experience in leading Validation projects.
- Understanding of ISO/IATF requirements.
