Job Description

Join Our Team as a Store Manager


Are you a proven leader with a passion for the automotive industry Graham Auto Repair (GAR) a family-owned shop dedicated to integrity quality and exceptional service is looking for a motivated and experiencedStore Managerto lead our team. This is more than just a jobits an opportunity to shape our customer experience and contribute to our shops culture and success.


What Youll Do


As our Store Manager youll be the driving force behind all service operations. Your primary goal is to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience from the moment they walk in the door to the final follow-up call. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading Your Team:Youll hire train coach and develop a team of service advisors holding them accountable to our high standards and core values. You will conduct one-on-one meetings and lead safety meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page and growing professionally.
  • Customer Relations:You will serve as the main point of contact for customer concerns resolving issues with genuine care and professionalism. Youll also work to build lasting relationships with our customers and vendors through clear communication and follow-up.
  • Operational Excellence:Youll oversee the day-to-day operations ensuring all processes are efficient and meet our quality standards. This includes monitoring key performance metrics managing the budget and maintaining a clean safe and organized shop environment.
  • Training & Development:Youll coordinate training to keep our teams skills sharp. We believe in continuous learning and will support your professional growth with required ASE certifications and training through platforms like ATI Overdrive and iTAC.


What Were Looking For


The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-motivated leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • 3 years of management experience required (5 years preferred)
  • 1 years of sales experience required
  • A valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record required
  • Prior automotive and/or corporate experience is a plus
  • Above-average computer skills
  • Proven leadership problem-solving and organizational abilities with superior attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work independently without supervision in a self-motivated and trustworthy capacity.
  • Must have organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to obtain at least one ASE certification within one year.
  • Must be able to travel.


Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery. Occasionally ascends/descends stairs. Will frequently communicate both verbally and electronically. Occasionally will move/lift items up to 30 lbs. Primarily will work indoors but maybe be exposed to outside weather conditions and shop noise.
