CrewSELECT require aDIDO/FIFOWater Treatment Service Technician to work on Chlorine Gas and Water Treatmentinfrastructureacross VIC.
Job Overview:
- Carry outservice repairmaintenance and installation on water treatment and chemical dosing infrastructure.
- Assess and repair/service equipment returned from the field in workshop.
- Instrumentation works.
- Maintain up to date customer records.
- Perform general duties of carrying out both electrical and mechanical work.
- Working on sites including Watercorp BHP Rio Tinto Alcoa Chevron and many more.
- Blend of localregional and mine sitework.

- 10 to 12 hour days.
- 5:2 - Monday to Friday work - occasionalweekend if the job blow out or on call work comes up.
- Commencing immediately.
About you:
- Experience working with chlorine gas facilities and/or water treatment facilities is beneficial.
- Proven experience working as a service and maintenance on machinery and plant environments.
- Prior experience working with electrical and mechanical components.
- Basic fabrication skills would be beneficial.
- Ability to use initiative and problem solve.
- Be a self motivated person who has a high standard for quality.
- Motivated positive can-do attitude.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to travel as required.
- Attention to details A perfectionist.
- Able to read and interpret details drawings / plans.
- Able to work in a team or on their own when required.
- Happy to be on an on-call roster.
Tickets and qualifications required:
- Mechanical fitter or Electrician trade certificate.
- Construction card.
- Drivers license.
- Police clearance within 12 months.
- Instrumentation certification - highly regardedbut not essential.
