Greenberg Traurig (GT) a global law firm currently has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 4th - 6th year associate in the Corporate practice of our Dallas TX office. Job Requirements
Ideal candidates should have 4-6 years of experience working with private equity funds independent sponsors and portfolio companies in connection with M&A transactions capital raises and debt and securities offerings. Candidates should have experience drafting operating and partnership agreements and attending to the day-to-day needs of portfolio companies.
Candidates should be well-versed in the mechanics of leading an M&A transaction from inception to closing; experience leading due diligence teams; general corporate and corporate governance experience; ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas and a willingness to train junior associates.
Candidates should also possess a strong academic background superior drafting and research skills experience negotiating important transaction documents the ability to draft M&A transaction documents and the candidates should be diligent detail-oriented proactive supportive team-oriented and personable.
Candidates must be admitted to the Texas Bar and should be willing to participate in community and professional organizations as part of professional development.
