Job Description
- Free Fitness Membership at 4500 Fitness
- Red Cross First Aid and CPR Training
- Assist the Lead Art Instructor in preparing for classes and activities
- Assist in instructing classes while adapting to participants learning styles abilities and interests; implement different approaches to teaching techniques and skills
- Assist in implementing and enforcing class rules for safety and behavior
- Maintain courteous and effective communication between staff participants and/or parents
- Report any incidents/accidents to the Supervisor immediately. Complete and submit accident/incident forms
- Inventory art supplies; requisition when as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive public image by addressing questions and concerns from staff patrons participants and parents immediately
- Attend staff meetings trainings and special events as scheduled by the Recreation Supervisor
- Understand communicate and enforce Park District rules and policies to campers and the public
- Substitute for Lead Art Instructor if needed
- Can successfully work independently and part of a team to achieve assigned goals
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
- Able to maintain positive and effective working relationships with other employees participants and the public
- Can assume a positive and active role in classes
- Ability to enforce park district rules and make sound decisions in order to secure the safety and well-being of all participants facilities and equipment
