The Role
As a Head of Technology youll be working closely with your partners to prioritize create and own roadmaps for your Engineering teams to work from. Youll be working with your technology teams across different locations and time zones to create a vision for your area of responsibility.
Youll promote a culture of openness and clear feedback. Youll enable your teams to deliver high quality scalable software and emphasize a focus on Operational Excellence and help solve cross-vertical problemsby designing and developing capabilities that fulfil overlapping needs.
What Youll Be Doing
Delivery:
Develop strategies with other heads to reduce bottlenecks and inefficiencies while promoting collaboration
Produce and deliver a strategic technical vision while identifying gaps in ownership and negotiating wholl own them going forward
Define and deliver area strategy/vision for our next 2 years
Engage with colleagues inside and outside technology and with different ways of working to ensure that complex and cross-functional initiatives are delivered dependencies are managed and continuous improvement is prioritised.
Responsible for ensuring effective operational support in conjunction with all partnersintegrated with our Service Operations support organisation and customer support
People:
Attract the best talent into the tribe
Assure that our talent is continuously developed motivated and engaged ensuring that high performers are continuously challenged and provided with new opportunities and poor performers are managed up or out;
Responsible for championing every success from the Tribe
Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Technology teams and evolve our agile/scrum delivery processes.

Assure the right performance and stability of all the components and systems;
Liaising with partners and regulatory bodies to establish and follow an effective release process
What Youll Bring
A proven track record building and effectively delivering through teams in a collaborative manner
Experience defining and executing a strategic vision working collaboratively and in partnership with our stakeholders on shared goals
Focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder management to ensure that the department operates effectively
Experience defining and implementing software delivery best practices agile delivery methodologies and proven track-record of continuously improving delivery pace while maintaining quality
Experience delivering technology solutions for internal customer facing products in a high energy ambiguous environment
Experience supporting teams with software systems in production including on-call support with a relentless focus on improving the stability availability and performance of those systems
A natural leader of people and a strong team player with a collaborative style; a proven track record building and effectively delivering through teams.
Strong communicator with a logical structured clear credible and mature style. Capable of engaging non-technical audiences of different levels.
You work collaboratively and in partnership with our stakeholders on shared goals. Consistently seeks out and facilitates the sharing of others ideas and perspectives and positively impacts the achievement of desired outcomes.
