Job Description
JOB TITLE: Civil Engineer
JOB LOCATION:Ikeja Lagos
ADVERTISEMENT
JOB DETAILS:
- To consult with and provide guidance to project stakeholders and management regarding engineering requirements for construction of various designs modifications and structural repairs.
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps reports tests drawings and others)
- Preparing and implementing project plans.
- Assesses strength of foundations concrete asphalt or steel by testing materials and soil. He / she supervises the testing by third party in order to conform with engineering standards.
- Researching and providing estimates for projects.
- Assesses potential risks materials and costs
- Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures construction processes and regulatory compliance.
- Confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.
- Estimates materials equipment and labour needed to determine project costs.
- Monitors project progress and ensures design specifications safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets resources and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes etc.).
- On completion of a project inspects repairs and maintains the structures as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Degree with 3 10 years experience.
