Country GeneralManager (Korea) - Shipping Services
Responsible for enlarging country customer base performance results vs sales targets
Customer Service - provide the best level of service to customers and build a trustworthy and long-lasting relationship according to global CS standard of service
Responsible for logistics and port operation activities in the country in close relation to the Asia District Management and Procurement Team
Overall responsibility for country working capital and financial statements in relation to Asia District Management
Lead interfaces and achievements with other global/regional functions and countries in the company
Manage cargo flow policies to bring the best results and maintain close dialogue Asia District Ops & Log
Manage the country according to the local regulations and in line with the company best practice and guidelines
Represent the Client in all local authorities and related Shipping Association (SOAAG)
Responsible for the country business development
Improve the Client and in the local market take part in conventions develop relationships with customers based on trust and enhance interactions with local authorities
Manage the country by outstanding performance under set of KPIs and targets
Direct profit & loss responsibility for the country
Achieve budget forecast in terms of sales quantities revenues costs operational profits as well as market share
Requirements:
A degree in shipping logistics business administration or related field
Minimum 5 years experience as General Manager in a global shipping containercompany with P&L accountability
Experience and knowledge of the Koreashipping industry with a strong commercial focus
Strong commercial / sales background
Strong reporting problem-solving and analytics capabilities
Knowledge of business and performance indicators
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills persuasiveness and the ability to inspire our customers
