Our client is one of the leading automotive manufacturers in Thailand with over 17 years of expertise.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Control Manager to oversee the planning and management of materials production and inventory to ensure on-time delivery and meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in production planning strong communication skills in both Chinese and English and expertise in this role you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of production control while maintaining supplier relationships and negotiating effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and managing material production and inventory to ensure on-time delivery and meet customer requirements.
- Ensuring production schedules are optimized and achievable considering available resources and customer demands.
- Overseeing the maintenance of accurate inventory levels and collaborating with teams to prevent shortages and delays.
- Coordinating the timely procurement of materials and managing relationships with suppliers negotiating prices delivery times and terms to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitoring and analyzing production schedules identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (including purchasing manufacturing and logistics) to streamline production processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensuring adherence to budget quality standards and production timelines.
- Managing team members and projects providing guidance and leadership to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.
- Utilizing SAP for managing production planning material requirements inventory control and other related tasks.
- Reporting regularly to senior management on production status inventory levels and potential risks or delays.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in production planning with a solid understanding of production processes and supply chain management.
- Proficient in both Chinese and English (written and verbal communication).
- Strong proficiency in SAP for production planning and inventory management.
- Experience in team management and working with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
