Job Description
The Information Security Analyst position will report to the Global Security Operations Manager within Enterprise Information Technology. The Information Security Analyst identifies investigates analyzes and recommends information security guidance to ensure system and data confidentiality integrity and availability while assessing compliance against company policy regulatory requirements and client contractual requirements. This position will interact with a diverse and globally deployed Information Technology workforce to assist with remediation and enterprise information security reporting.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting in the coordination effort of security activities such as security patch remediation configuration assessments and vulnerability management processes.
- Provide global security system reports for patch configuration and vulnerability management to include ensuring issue assignment to the appropriate teams and stakeholders.
- Consult on appropriate remediation activities to include how issues should be resolved in a global enterprise networked environment.
- Analyzing information gathered from information security assessment tools network and host based security systems assisting with the operation of information security assessment systems and security controls.
- Review the existing security process metrics for process bottlenecks and missed remediation assignments.
- Work with other team members to recommend process improvements based on analysis of the processes utilized to remediate security related issues within the environment.
- Participate in project initiatives as required.
- Three (3) or more years of Information Technology support experience
- Experience providing operational reporting in a large information technology team utilizing a diverse set of reporting tools
- Ability to communicate with a diverse and globally deployed workforce
- Knowledge of corporate policy and standards
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Vulnerability Management and Physical Security background is preferred for this role.
