Principal FINOPS Engineer (Hybrid Work Schedule)

• Analyze usage patterns cost trends and allocation methods across departments and projects.
• Develop visual and analytical tools to support tagging budget compliance and resource governance.
• Manage programs related to cloud onboarding tagging and compliance enforcement.

Requirements

• Proficiency in public cloud platforms AWS and Azure; familiarity with GCP OCI and private cloud (VMware Datacenters).
• Strong understanding of cloud economics pricing models and cloud cost drivers in a SaaS-based architecture.
• Advanced experience with AWS Cost Explorer Azure Cost Management and cloud billing systems.
• Experience in Cloud FinOps / Cloud Spend Optimization strategies and methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud management platforms data ingestion pipelines and cost allocation strategies.
• Advanced/Expert skills in Microsoft Excel for cost modeling and analysis.
• Experience in financial modeling budgeting and forecasting for cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large data volumes across multiple dimensions.
• Proven ability to create and present cloud finance information to executives and technical teams.
• Ability to identify cost anomalies investigate root causes and mitigate unnecessary spend.
• Flexibility to work in a global environment and adapt to varying time zones.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines handle stress and adapt quickly to new tools and strategies.
• Strong communication documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English both written and verbal

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect
• Azure Fundamentals / Architect certifications
• FinOps Certified Practitioner
• Power BI Data Analyst Associate
