Job Description

The Scope
The Student Assistant Legal will help FSC achieve its mission by supporting different tasks and processes carried out by the Legal department. The Legal department serves FSC and other units as a service supplier in the revision of contracts projects and requests associated to Data Protection and Intellectual Property and Trademark as well as Compliance. The student will have the opportunity to help optimize some processes and provide administrative support necessary for a smooth operational effectiveness.
This role provides an opportunity for a student currently pursuing a degree in law business administration international business or relations or related field to gain hands-on experience in contract management compliance initiatives legal operations and administrative support.

Main Roles & Responsibilities
  • Process invoices.
  • Help with updating internal training materials.
  • Conduct some occasional legal research.
  • File contracts.
  • Classify correspondence and deal with legal informative material.
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed.
Your profile
  • You are an undergraduate or graduate in law business administration international relations or a related field.
  • Currently enrolled at a University in the Bonn area with eligibility to work in Germany.
  • You are living in commuting distance to our Bonn office.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • You can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have an excellent command of MS Office especially MS Excel and Outlook.
  • You are business fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • You are committed to FSC mission and values.
The Fine Print
  • Start date: As soon as possible.
  • Working hours: 20 hours per week (ideally across 3- 5 days per week).
  • Duration: 6 months with an opportunity to extend.
  • Remuneration: 14 gross per hour.
  • Location: FSC office Bonn Germany
