Job Description
Our client is a well-established Institution of Higher Learning. As part of its expansionary
plan it is seeking to employ an experienced professional to join them as
Procurement Manager (Education Industry) (Ref: KHXXX)
Overview
This role is responsible for assisting the Senior Procurement Manager in carrying out
the daily procurement operations of the organisation aswell as other ad-hoc projects
and duties.
The Job
Advise user divisions on procurement policies appropriate methods of
procurement and workflow
Review Purchase Requisitions for compliance and internal guidelines
Manage the full tender cycle from tender administration with requestors to review
of tender documentation and subsequent tender recommendation for approval
and contract award
Review of ITQ documentation and new contract/ renewal award
Maintain term contracts database and follow up on Tender and/or ITQ and/or
renewal requests
Conduct procurement training and engagement sessions for staff.
Assist in validation of exceptions from Data Analytics Report
Assist in internal audit queries and data gathering
Be involved in system enhancement projects
Assist in ad-hoc assignments as assigned
The Candidate
Advise user divisions on procurement policies appropriate methods of
procurement and workflow
Possess at least a Good Diploma / Bachelors degree with minimum 5 years of
relevant experience
Must be proficient in MS Office
Hands-on experience in SAP Finance and Materials Management modules and
e-procurement system will be an added advantage
Candidates with Quantity Surveyor background are welcome to apply
