Bell is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist to support our V-22 program with the Government of Japan.
The ILS Specialist at Bell Textron K.K. is responsible for comprehensive support program execution and growth of Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) with the Government of Japan. This role involves strategic planning customer relationship management and coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction. This position is at our Tokyo Japan location and may require some regional travel to support customer needs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as Bells representative for Japan V-22 programs regarding aftermarket support.
- Develop collaborative relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage track and report all contract requirement deliverables including facilitating in person customer meetings and program reviews.
- Conduct internal monthly reviews and reports on risks issues opportunities and contractual requirements.
- Assist in identifying and developing military sales
- Ensure effective communication within Bell regarding customer requirements and program efforts.
- Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process coordinating with US program management and contracting activities.
- Support Finance Department to ensure pragmatic financial success
- Support existing military and commercial aftermarket programs as required.
What you need to be successful
- 8 years of military or government procurement experience
- Japanese and English language fluency.
- Aerospace industry experience
- Bachelors degree preferred
Experience Requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Oriented professional with strong strategic planning skills.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and responsiveness to customers.
- Have broad knowledge of Aviation Logistics Services Performance Based Logistics Direct Commercial Sales objectives and Government of Japan requirements
- Strong knowledge of transactional contracts specifications schedules and compliance.
- Able to plan and interface with other IPTs functions partners subcontractors and internal/external customers.
- Able and willing to travel both domestically and internationally when required.
Preferred Experience
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar commercial software products.
- Proficiency with MS Office Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have familiarity in Japan Import/Export ITAR/EAR contract planning specifications statements of work estimating and compliance.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management practices.
- Have experience working within a matrix enterprise is preferred
