Senior Technical Officer ()
The Academy of Music ( has rapidly emerged as one of the leading institutions in Hong Kong providing a rigorous music curriculum. This cutting-edge facility will provide outstanding resources for a wide array of creative arts disciplines reaffirming the Academys steadfast dedication to achieving excellence.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Senior Technical Officer. The appointee is expected to:
- Oversee the operation of the technical office of the academy and ensure the technical office operates in an organised manner;
- Take a leading role in forecasting and monitoring the technical needs of the academic and teaching staff and students for a comprehensiveexecution of manpower allocation and equipment procurement; and
- Provide administrative/technical/logistic support to the Academy of Music including day-to-day office operation coordination for teaching/ learning and performance activities production of teaching video/audio and other duties as assigned by the Director of the Academy.
Applicant should possess a recognised bachelors degree with 5 years of full-time work experience and excellent proficiency in English and appointee should be familiar with professional-level audio hardware and software video editing software Mac and Windows operating systems and possess experience in troubleshooting and equipment appointee should also be a responsible team player with the ability to multi-task and be attentive to details. Relevant experience and skills for the post are preferred.
The appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years commencing as soon as possible.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
