We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement team at Marsh Singapore. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will be responsible for managing and placing large complex P&C accounts for corporate clients across various industries. The role requires deep expertise in P&C insurance exceptional negotiation skills and a client-centric approach to deliver tailored insurance solutions that mitigate risk and drive value.
We will count on you to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for large and complex P&C accounts building and maintaining strong relationships with clients insurers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients and Marsh advisory teams to analyse risk exposures assess insurance needs and develop customised P&C solutions.
- Design and execute placement strategies for complex risks leveraging Marshs global network and market relationships to secure optimal coverage terms and pricing.
- Engage with insurance carriers to negotiate competitive terms conditions and pricing ensuring alignment with client objectives and Marsh standards.
- Develop innovative and cost-effective insurance programmes tailored to the unique needs of clients in industries such as manufacturing construction energy or financial services.
- Stay abreast of P&C market trends emerging risks and regulatory changes to provide proactive advice to clients and internal teams.
- Prepare and review placement submissions proposals and policy documents to ensure accuracy compliance and clarity.
- Work closely with client executives risk managers and Marshs advisory claims and analytics teams to deliver seamless service and integrated solutions.
- Ensure all placement activities adhere to local regulations Marshs internal policies and industry best practices.
What you need to have:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Insurance Risk Management or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPCU ARM or ACI preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in P&C insurance with at least 3 years in a placement or broking role handling large and complex accounts.
- In-depth knowledge of P&C insurance products including property casualty D&O cyber and specialty lines.
- Established relationships with insurers and reinsurers in the Singapore and Asia-Pacific markets.
