Job Description
Job description: Internal Financial Officer
The Internal Financial Officer ensures a strong accounting and reporting function including overseeing and monitoring an effective control environment.
The position is process driven particularly for tasks such as preparing management reports budget reports forecasts cost analysis reports profit or loss statements financial statements as well as making recommendations for improvements.
Key tasks:
- Responsible for overseeing the bookkeeping
- Preparation of management reporting
- Preparation of annual accounts
- Providing liquidity forecasting and cash management
- Drawing up budgets
- Preparing and filing of VAT returns
- Ensure the ERP software (AFAS) is properly set-up for efficient and effective bookkeeping and reporting.
- Close collaboration with the management team
- Manage creditor payments and cash management
Your profile:
- We are looking for passionate people who wish to excel personally within the company.
- You take ownership and responsibility are proactive and have a natural drive for results and meeting deadlines
- >3 years relevant work experience
- Solid knowledge of Dutch GAAP.
- Advanced education in Accountancy/ Business Administration
- Computer skills: knowledge of and experience with MS Office AFAS and VisionPlanner.
