Your Mission

The role of the Ariba Procurement Specialist is to ensure the correctness of all Purchase Requisitions (PR) before approval and submission of Purchase Oders (PO) for Indirect Materials.
As part of the approval flow for Purchase Requisitions in Ariba Buying the Ariba Procurement Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

Conduct all quality checks to ensure that Purchase requisitions include the correct informantion to perform a PR-PO conversion and allow for a correct invoice posting

Leading a team of 2 people
Act as an interface between Requestors Indirect Procurement and Accounting to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the process
Ensure alignement and compliance with Beyond Gravity guidelines requirements and working instructions
Ensure timely execution of Procurement check requests
Monitor timely deliver of missing information / documents to ensure timely approval and conversion of Purchase Requisitions into Purchase orders in Ariba / SAP
Manage order confirmations and track goods- and invoice receipt
Work within own team and with other teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities

Your Story

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Economics or a related field.
2 years of experience in procurement purchasing or a related function ideally within a digital technology or innovation-focused environment.
Familiarity with. Ariba or other e-procurement software (e.g. Coupa iValua) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle)
Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
Experience with data analysis reporting and procurement metrics.
Knowledge of procurement best practices industry trends and digital procurement innovations
Excellent communication and social skills
Results-oriented and assertive mindset
Mentality to welcome challenges to take the initiative and to identify and seize opportunities.
Team player
Open-minded strong communicator and networker willingly involves others and shares information.
