About the Job

The Procurement Specialists most important task is to professionally handle the development of operational duties and responsibilities in procuring non-direct materials and services and to some extent support operational and strategic responsibilities in relevant categories in the territory of responsibility. The operational duties and responsibilities concern supporting the business in procurement-related tasks i.e. punctual efficient and ERP system-originated procurement of requested non-direct materials and services. Other responsibilities concern having an analyzed and well-defined basis of all operational activities i.e. procedure documents optimization of ERP System operations etc. Secure alignment on contractual and other issues with Global Procurement Process Excellence as well as direct stakeholders and contract management for designated suppliers.

Main Responsibilities

Support implementation of Global Category/ Procurement Management strategies in the territory of responsibility
Support executing initiatives that will ensure the strategy implementation
Use defined systems (e.g. E1 K-Rise Easy Buyer Wave)
Always support and secure companys supply chain activities of non-direct materials and services at designated company locations
Contribute to maintaining OTIF according to company s defined target and the organizations needs
Make sure that GMP GDP and other relevant regulations are always followed
Constant focus on process standardization and continuous improvement within the area of responsibility
Handle develop and supervise the operational responsibilities for non-direct materials and services procurement at designated companys locations
Handle develop and supervise the operational responsibilities for stock materials like the ones used in maintenance (except for production materials as part of BOM) at the designated companys locations
Prepare and effectuate purchase orders (and blanket orders) based on requisitions system-generated re-order points and other communication
Support the business in procurement-related tasks i.e. punctual efficient and ERP-originated supply of non-direct materials and other requested services
Initiate manage and support ERP-related projects in the relevant territory
Prepare and generate EKER number for transportation in the territory when necessary
Support procurement of materials and services within CAPEX projects if necessary
Support supply and demand calculations
Maintain and follow up on the requested supply of non-direct materials (Stock Management)
Follow up on purchase orders delivery documentation warehouse operations stock-level invoicing claims etc. and take appropriate action if necessary
Maintain supplier item and price master data in ERP
Manage and support reporting activities
Support maintenance of action plans and procedures
Support audit activities
In alignment with the Global Procurement Team Members identifies and evaluates new potential suppliers in areas of responsibility and asks for approvals.
Monitor supplier performance and in alignment with Category Managers and other relevant Global Procurement Team Members strive to improve their performance
Initiate manage and support local cost-saving and efficiency projects
Manage spend and savings data related to Xellia locations under responsibility
Report savings and other relevant activities data on time in full
Strong focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

What We Expect

Minimum 1 year of work experience in procurement or similar
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Advance MS Office knowledge
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20% of time)
