Sales Support Officer
Are you commercially driven a true team player and ready to take your next step into the world of Global Sales Then Damen Anchors & Chains is looking for you!
As a Sales Support Officer you are the vital link between our customers and internal departments. You have a keen interest in both technology and commerce and know how to combine these two worlds seamlessly.
What will you do
Youll work closely with experienced sales colleagues to supply our anchors and chains to (new) customers around the world. Youll have plenty of room to develop your commercial skills and try out your own ideas.
Your daily tasks include:
- Communicating with customers by phone and email providing technical advice.
- Preparing and following up on quotations.
- Exploring new sales channels such as social media.
- Conducting market research (e.g. identifying new customer segments and their activities).
- Processing incoming orders and coordinating deliveries.
- Contributing to product development by gathering and analyzing customer feedback.

- Youre comfortable communicating with customers in English.
- You enjoy working in a team and understand that success is achieved together.
- Youre hands-on and not afraid of a challenge.
- Technical knowledge is a plus but not a must if youre eager to learn youre the perfect candidate!
- You already live in the area of Rotterdam.
