Purpose Statement:
This role is responsible for validating processes managing technical communication for products designing and optimizing new product processes and overseeing assigned manufacturing processes while adhering to quality delivery and cost targets.
This position reports directly to the Director Product Engineering - Americas.

Key Job Accountabilities:
Is visible and recognized in all Manufacturing Sites as a Subject Matter Expert of their engineering discipline; and/or is visible and recognized in all Manufacturing Sites as a cross-discipline development leader for product manufacturing development product improvement or troubleshooting within the region as it applies to their role.
Regarded as a go to technical specialist leader and mentor within their Manufacturing discipline; and/or regarded as a cross-discipline leader and mentor for product / process development process improvement or troubleshooting within site/ region as it applies to their role.
Serves as a technical and/or project team lead providing technical guidance/ training controlling scope schedule budget and ensuring overall technical success on small to mid-size Plexus Manufacturing Processes as it applies to their role.
Leads continuous improvement activities associated with their engineering discipline and/or project-level tools or processes as it applies to their role.
Provides Customer Service leadership in project technical discussions business continuity and new proposal creation
Education/Experience Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical science is required.
Minimum Ten (10) years of product related experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered

Intermediate computer skills
Advanced decision making problem solving skills
Advanced verbal and written communications skills
Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills; Statistical Process Control software skills (MiniTab preferred).
In-depth cross-discipline manufacturing product development knowledge
Strong understanding of Structured Design ExperimentsFMEA DFA and process mapping analysis
Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers
Physical Requirements:
Professional office environment with suitable lighting comfortable temperatures and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk using a computer and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
Travel Requirements:
30% estimation travel required to support business needs
