Senior Platform Quality Engineer
As the Senior Platform Quality Engineer you will:
- Ensure service compatibility and consumer-driven development using contract testing principles (e.g. Pact Spring Cloud Contract).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate effective testing methodologies and automated tools into the development process.
- Champion test-driven development practices to prevent and detect errors while ensuring faster feedback.
- Solve complex technical challenges related to infrastructure testing and quality engineering.
- Set up and maintain testing infrastructure (e.g. cloud environments container orchestration) for scalable test execution.
- Work proactively with development teams to identify potential production issues and create risk-mitigation strategies.
- Foster a culture of shift-left testing and collective ownership of quality.
Desired Skills:
- 5 years of quality engineering experience.
- Experience with server-side concepts including microservices databases caching performance monitoring and scalability.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React Angular ) and .
- Proficiency with test automation tools: Mocha Cypress Playwright RestAssured k6 Pact.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
