Your role and responsibilities
Leads local finance teams and acts as a business partner to the Marketing Sales or Service business manager to optimize financial performance for the organization under scope. Supports in making effective business-decisions by monitoring analyzing and interpreting financial data and recommends the most appropriate solutions to management.
This role is contributing to the ELSP&ELSB Marketing & Sales finance & controlling area
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Contributes to the definition of strategy for the responsible Sales Marketing or Service organization.
- Serves as a key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy for their area of responsibility and developing a global business model aligning with wider strategy implementing and adjusting the implementation plan as needed.
- Translates the finance strategy into business plans and establishes measurable targets.
- Oversees the business planning and forecasting process for their area of responsibility.
- Evaluates the financial implications of various strategic decisions builds scenarios and recommends actions to mitigate risks.
- Monitors progress achieved and provides insight and analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Identifies financial issues and advises functional management team on action plans and operational strategies to resolve.
- Drives appropriate cost structure productivity optimization and capital efficiency with special focus on profitability demand analysis go-to-market Return on Investment (RoI) and sales efficiency.
- Ensures timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations work quality and efficiency for their area of responsibility.
- Ensures complete transparency in financial reporting and disclosures as mandated by law and internal policies.
- Defines and implements internal controls for financial and non-financial operations.
- Identifies and communicates commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions.
- Establishes and drives processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.
- Ensures the quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)- A Bachelors degree in business administration finance or accounting is required.
- 5 years of business controlling experience or alternatively a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated performance and results; in the areas of business finance operational controlling and/or accounting.
- Strong market and customer orientated financial manager structured and results oriented leader with strong analytical and operational controlling skills.
- Familiar with Digital Finance tools
- Business oriented mindset to support business development familiar with Market and sales activities in product business model
- Cost management Process excellence and Solid SAP knowledge/experience (CO/FI) preferred.
