Definition
Under supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Leadership and Learning is responsible for performing a variety of duties; offers support to the staff in carrying out the objectives of the grants and LAL departments including data collection organization and articulation and performing duties as theAdministrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent of Leadership and Learning.
Typical Duties (Any one position may not include all of the duties listed nor do the examplescover all of the duties that may be performed.)
Administrative Assistant to Assistant Superintendent of Leadership and Learnings Office
Assistant to the staff in the Office of LAL
Schedules appointments meetings interviews virtual meetings and conference calls
Attends meetings and take notes
Creates purchase orders and vendor requests for all curriculum instruction andgrant related items
Pays invoices for the created purchase orders
Handles Federal Procurement procedures related to grant purchases
Answers and screens calls
Works shifts at the front receptionist desk at Central Office
Runs copies creates documents preparation for meetings
Uses Google Docs and Microsoft Office to create data spreadsheets documents andcommunication for buildings
Works with the EMIS and Testing team to create user-friendly data reports fordistrict and building use
Manages State Local and Vendor Assessments
Creates documentation systems for organizational purposes
All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Experience working with teams in a customer service oriented environment
Google Certification preferred
Data input output and articulation
Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
Familiarity with SIS or equivalent systems
Familiarity with school and school district functions and responsibilities
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Desired
General knowledge of English grammar spelling and punctuation; general knowledge of basicmathematics; Proficient in Microsoft Office; Skilled in exercising tact and discretion whencommunicating with students parents teachers administrators and support staff; Ability tomaintain accurate records and write reports and logs; Ability to lift boxes of supplies and books;Ability to bend stoop and reach.
