Our client is a leading energy player in Thailand.
This role will be based in Chonburi.
Job Description
- Developing and implementing a Data Governance Framework including a strategy and roadmap for effective data management.
- Establishing data policies standards and controls to ensure compliance with data governance privacy and international regulations.
- Overseeing the data governance framework ensuring organizational alignment and adherence.
- Collaborating with Risk Security and Compliance teams to meet regulatory standards (e.g. PDPA/GDPR) and improve data governance processes.
- Defining principles and processes for external data sharing including data-sharing protocols and minimization practices.
- Guiding third-party data-sharing approvals usage conditions and best practices.
- Supporting data management compliance across projects advising stakeholders on data accessibility and management.
- Leading the Data Stewardship and Governance program to promote organization-wide governance awareness and program maturity.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience creating policies standards procedures and guidelines.
- Knowledge of data platform concepts and data lake architecture.
- Advanced understanding of the data management lifecycle.
- Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills.
- At least 5 years of experience in data governance or data management.
- Proficient in data platform design and data engineering.
- Experience with business-driven data governance practices.
- Familiarity with on-premises and cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure SAP).
- Experience with data pipelines and management tools.
