Reporting to Sales Supervisor the sales representative will contribute to a high performing team within the Surgical Innovations business to achieve sales revenue and market share targets. The sales representative will achieve this by promoting selling and servicing Medtronic Surgical products and therapies.

Medtronics surgical innovations focus on advancing minimally invasive procedures through cutting-edge technology improving patient outcomes while reducing recovery times. Our solutions span across multiple specialties leveraging robotics precision instruments and digital platforms to enhance surgical precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Promotes and sells Medtronics products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Responsible for developing building and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.

  • Responsible for pursuing leads assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronics products and/or services.

  • Promotes and establishes education of the companys products and/or services.

  • Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.

  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including Research and Development (R&D) Operations and Marketing

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • A Bachelors degree AND a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare field

  • Good sales record

  • Team player

  • Good communication skills

  • Proactive and Customer focused

  • Independent and self-starter

  • Good learning attitude
