Job Summary

  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities by researching the assigned market profiling target customers and crafting tailored strategies to win their accounts.
  • Drive growth within existing accounts by identifying new project opportunities and securing repeat business.
  • Design and execute a strategic sales plan that increases the companys market share and strengthens customer relationships.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline by identifying key MEP contractors tracking ongoing and upcoming projects and engaging stakeholders from prospecting through to closure.
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotations with support from the pre-sales team; ensure timely follow-up to close deals.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to expand the customer base and stay visible in the market.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships introduce new products provide technical training and gather feedback.
  • Submit weekly activity and results reports to management keeping leadership informed on pipeline status and customer engagement.
  • Monitor competitor activity market trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic direction.
  • Resolve customer complaints by identifying root causes proposing corrective actions and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Perform annual account reviews to ensure alignment with customer needs and internal targets.
  • Present periodic sales revenue and expense reports along with realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Performing an annual review of the account and revising as necessary to ensure accuracy.

  • A First Degree in Business Administration Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP CBDP or PMP are an added advantage.
  • Experience in MEP projects sales as a sales representative
  • Knowledge of consultative selling approach
  • Excellent customer management skills
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite Software (Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook)
  • Strong customer skills ability to follow-up and follow through
  • Strong knowledge of B2B selling principles
  • Excellent ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
  • Ability to understand technical information and relay it in a manner that is clearly understood by others.
  • Ability to communicate write reports in clear terms using a mixture of words charts graphs etc.
