Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Orion MI on a full-time basis.
The Role:
As a Lead Maintenance Planner at Orion Assembly you will be the driving force behind maintenance strategy and execution on your assigned shift. You will lead maintenance planning efforts and guide the department in delivering safe reliable and efficient operations in a highly automated Fanuc robot-based Body Shop. While you will not have direct reports you will influence skilled trades technicians and cross-functional partners to ensure equipment readiness and process stability.
This high-profile role is critical to the success of new vehicle launches and ongoing production. You will be deeply involved in launch activities understanding how the vehicle builds and ensuring maintenance readiness from day one. Your work will be grounded in the six pillars of quality Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) and robust process control plans.
