Business Development Manager Factor For Business

About Factor for Business and the Role

Factor for Business is a fast-growing channel bringing chef-crafted dietitian-designed meals to companies of all sizes - supporting everything from employee perks to everyday in-office meals. Reporting to the Head of Growth Factor for Business you will join as a pivotal member of a lean cross-functional team thats building a key growth engine for Factor. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth across multiple fronts and acquiring our most valuable B2B customers. You will manage the entire sales process for high-value inbound leads proactively build a pipeline of enterprise partners and work to improve our self-serve platform. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced early-stage environment with the autonomy to build systems and processes from the ground up.

You will

  • Close High-Value Inbound Opportunities: Manage the full sales cycle for inbound and sourced leads from initial conversation to negotiation and closing with a focus on securing six figure contracts.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Identify develop relationships with and launch partnerships with large enterprises to create significant long-term revenue streams.
  • Support Self-Serve Growth: Partner with Growth Marketing to enhance the friction-less self-serve sign-up experience turning insights from your direct sales conversations into actionable improvements for our automated acquisition funnels.
  • Create Effective Sales Materials: Develop and sharpen the presentations proposals and case studies needed to clearly communicate our value and win new business.

Represent Factor at Industry Events: Attend conferences and trade shows to generate new leads build our brand and become an expert in our customers industries.

  • Collaborate to Ensure Customer Success: Work closely with Marketing Account Management and Operations to ensure a smooth sales process and a seamless handoff for new clients.
  • Identify New Growth Opportunities: use insights from sales to identify new customer segments product needs and develop go-to-market strategies that will help the team hit its growth targets.

You are

  • Skilled in multiple sales motions: equally effective at managing a high-volume
  • inbound pipeline and navigating longer-cycle multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
  • Customer-Obsessed: you take a consultative approach to understand client needs and are passionate about providing solutions that deliver real value across all touchpoints from self-serve to enterprise.
  • Biased toward action: You have a bias for action and are skilled at managing your own pipeline prioritizing tasks and iterating on your approach
  • Data-Driven: You are fluent in funnel metrics and use data to inform team strategy identify opportunities and report on performance.
  • A Team Player: You are motivated by the overall success of the channel and thrive in a collaborative environment actively sharing insights and looking for ways to support your colleagues to achieve shared goals.

You have

  • 4-8 years of experience in a B2B sales partnerships or business development role preferably in a fast paced environment
  • A track record of successfully closing complex B2B deals including 6-7 figure contracts
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern CRM (e.g. HubSpot Salesforce) for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel 10% for customer meetings conferences and partner activations.
