Job Description
- Recording and settling daily investment transactions into the HI port system i.e. fixed income equities unit trusts derivatives structured products and offshore investments managed through private funds and internal fund managers.
- Preparing payment vouchers and receipts.
- Monitoring and recording corporate actions.
- Managing the mark-to-market process and month-end closing ensuring accuracy.
- Reconciling daily and monthly reports received from asset management companies and custodians.
- Coordinating with custodians for securities delivery and settlement.
- Sending data to Oracle ERP for monthly financial statement closure.
- Providing information and reports to internal departments such as the Accounting Department and fund managers.
- Preparing and consolidating reports for the Office of Insurance Commissioner (OIC) and Bank of Thailand (BOT).
- Performing any other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in accounting Finance and Banking or related fields.
- Minimum 1-year experience in fund accounting from an asset management company.
- Proficient in the HI port software system.
- Holding an Investment Planner Certificate is an advantage.
- Proficient in English including reading writing speaking and listening skills.
- Computer-literate in software programs especially Microsoft Excel.
- Strong negotiation skills and good interpersonal relations.
