Welcome to Flore Restaurant at De LEurope Amsterdam where culinary artistry and the diverse flavors of Amsterdam converge. Flore offers an exceptional dining experience combining innovative cuisine with the finest local ingredients. Our menu features meticulously crafted dishes paired with exquisite wines or juices creating unforgettable moments for our guests. Currently we are seeking a Sommelier to join our team. We are looking for someone who excels in providing outstanding hospitality and thrives in an environment committed to excellence collaboration and exceptional service and a lot of wine.

What Youll Do

Extend a warm welcome to guests Provide detailed explanations about menu and beverage options Offer recommendations based on guests preferences for drinks Contribute to the growth of Flore Collaborate closely with the whole kitchen service and Sommeliers team Developing a juice pairing in close collaboration with our chefs Curate wine pairings with the Sommelier Team Share your knowledge with the broader team Report to the Wine Director and Restaurant Manager.

Who You Are

Experienced sommelier with a background in fine dining (MICHELIN) settings Passionate about hospitality and connecting with people Privately you take excellent care of your friends and bring the finest selections to celebrate special occasions Quick to adapt and remain effective in a dynamic and ever-changing environment Enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge (e.g. about wines) with colleagues Positive dynamic team player with a keen attention to detail Excellent communication skills for quick and effective coordination Always ready with a smile and solutions for any challenges that may arise.

Nice to Have

Passion for luxury hospitality Experience in training and mentoring junior staff Previous sommelier experience in fine dining restaurant.
