We are looking for an experienced Messaging Platform Engineering Specialist to design implement and support enterprise messaging solutions. The role focuses primarily on IBM MQ (priority skill) and Apache Kafka with strong emphasis on automation security and performance optimization.
Design deploy and maintain messaging infrastructure (IBM MQ Apache Kafka).
Monitor and optimize performance availability and scalability.
Implement security best practices (authentication authorization encryption).
Automate provisioning monitoring and maintenance tasks (Python Shell Ansible).
Troubleshoot messaging issues across development test and production environments.
Collaborate with application and DevOps teams on integration strategies.
Maintain documentation and provide internal support/training.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
5 years in enterprise messaging systems.
Strong hands-on IBM MQ experience (installation configuration clustering security).
Solid experience with Apache Kafka (brokers topics producers/consumers).
Proficiency in Python Shell or Ansible scripting.
Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes GKE and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace Prometheus Grafana).
Strong understanding of networking security and high availability.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with cloud-based messaging services (Confluent Kafka MuleSoft).
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and microservices.
IBM MQ and/or Kafka certifications.
Soft Skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
