RAPP Detroit is looking for a Freelance - Account Executive to join our award-winning Account Leadership team.

Part of Omnicoms Precision Marketing Group RAPP is comprised of 2000 creatives technologists strategists and data and marketing scientists across 15 global markets

YOUR ROLE:

As an Account Executice you are a master of co-ordination demonstrating high potential in core business leadership skills. You will understand the agency portfolio of offerings and how to apply them to solve client business problems. You will partner and own the relationship with clients at the most mid-jr. levels and act as an agency driver that works to keep the agency operations moving along.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build expertise on a brands competitive landscape and product differentiators.
  • Understand appropriate research techniques for strategy creative and media needs.
  • Collaborate with strategy to develop briefs.
  • Participate in the development of client marketing strategy.
  • Establish core relationships with junior clients.
  • Proactively escalate potential problems.
  • Act as key collaborator with internal groups.
  • Organize and navigate assignments effectively.
  • Evaluate creative work and provides feedback for revisions as needed.
  • Ability to adequately represent client interests to the team.
  • Collaborate with team at appropriate times to ensure consensus around scoping project approach etc.
  • Ability to write accurate scopes by engaging appropriate discipline leads and asking detailed questions of clients to gain clarity around deliverables and needs (excels in project definition.)
  • Maintain documented rigorous scope tracking and scope creep identification.
  • Effectively and proactively communicate to client issues that can result in a scope change.
  • Issue change orders with oversight.
  • Monitor critical project hand-offs.
  • Initiate present and drive to completion value-added projects (participation dependent on level of complexity).
  • Understand the implications of business strategy on project decisions.
  • Own weekly/monthly project status reports and delivery of timely conference reports.
  • Set up meetings and provide accurate agendas and precise actionable meeting notes.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Established track record of successfully coordinating client initiatives.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years industry experience.
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns (CRM digital social media SEO/SEM and email marketing).
  • Proven ability to express self clearly and organize ideas well.
  • Capability to present ideas/new opinions with confidence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and respond quickly as business factors shift.
  • Ability to think strategically creatively and holistically about client opportunities.
  • Passion for doing great work.
  • May include travel.

Our Hybrid Work Model:

RAPPs current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such we have the option to work from home two days per week if wed like.

A reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting is $30-$38/hr. This range is specific to Detroit and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill set experience and training certifications; etc. If your requirements fall outside of this range you are still welcome to apply.
