Investment Services Private Markets(ISPVM)

ISPVMisthe department responsible forprivate markets investment services across the GIC group. It is responsible for providing deal structuring and closing portfolio monitoring valuation finance operations tax data management and analytics services in the execution of private marketsinvestments in Real Estate Private Equity PrivateCreditand Infrastructure. It isalso involved in financial reporting and accounting of investment holding companies as well as operations and financial due diligence for asset operations.

What impact can you make in this role

We are looking for a suitable candidate toworkwith a team on a transformation project overseeingthe integrity and accuracy of our Investment Book of Records (IBOR) andAccountingBook ofRecords (ABOR) ensuring our data governance standardsare upheld but alsoenabledata-driven decisions by our investment teams. Youll work with systemsand innovative tools to enhance our reference data management processes enabling seamless data integration and accessibility across the organization. What will you do as an Associate / AVP Data Management

• Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle for private markets operations. Design implement andmaintain data models for private markets products IBOR and ABOR.
• Manage andoperate the end-to-end reporting cycle for private market investments monitoring data issues investigating root causes designing and tracking resolutions ensuring adherence to accounting principles and practices.
• Lead thedevelopment of business user requirements monitor the project progress and design testing strategies to execute user acceptance testing of systems and data changes ensuring that investment and accounting book of records are accurately represented.
• Support the implementation of new capabilitiesin enterprise projects and platforms for private markets as the business accounting and data subject matter expert.
• Work closely with various stakeholders across businessdata and technology teams to implement and supportprojects andsolutions using best-of-breed technologies and methodologies while adhering to data governance and accounting standards.
• Implement best practices from data management standardsand continuously improve internal processes by exploring new tools and capabilities.

What qualifications or skills should youpossess in this role

• Bachelors degree inAccounting Finance Data Analytics Information Systems or relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in the private markets finance or investment / asset management domain knowledge in private markets is a strong bonus.
• Stronghands-on understanding of the key principles processes and controls relating to data management and reporting.
• Excellent project and time management skills to drive multiple workstreamsconcurrently.
• Experience in using Microsoft Excel Power Query and coding in Python / SQL isadvantageous.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and enjoy complex problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders to design and develop solutions.
• Committed and motivated individual who is meticulous and enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
