Job description

Our client is currently inviting applications for the position of Registrar or SHO in Psychiatry. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated doctor seeking to develop their skills and experience in a supportive and progressive mental health service.

The post offers exposure to a range of psychiatric subspecialties including:

  • General Adult Psychiatry

  • Old Age Psychiatry

  • Liaison Psychiatry

  • Community Mental Health Services

  • Inpatient Care

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health care. The role includes participation in clinical meetings teaching and regular supervision.

Job requirements

  • Medical degree and full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)

  • Driving License is essential as the post is community based

  • Previous experience in psychiatry is essential

  • Eligible to work in Ireland

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
