We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural/Bridge Inspector to join our team in the Cameron LA area. As a key member of our maintenance team you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our structural/bridge building projects. Non-exempt role; Reports to the QA/QC Manager; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.
Per diem included for those who qualifyEssential Qualifications:
CWI Certification with a Bridge Inspection endorsementFunctional Requirements:
Conducting regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with plans and specifications; Identifying and reporting any non-conformances or potential safety hazards; Maintaining accurate and detailed inspection records; Providing technical support to construction crews as needed; Working closely with project managers to ensure smooth progress of construction projects; Participating in construction meetings and communicating inspection results to stakeholders; Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction.Physical Involvement:
May be required to do the following: climbing ladders scaffolds structures etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders scaffolds structures etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level waist level and/or overhead; carrying objects tools equipment etc.; standing / sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; typing / data entry; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environmentFull-Time
