Project Assistant ()

The Faculty is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Assistant to provide support in research administrative activities. Reporting to the Faculty Research Senior Manager the qualified candidate will contribute to the delivery of faculty-led initiatives and ensure the smooth flow of projects data accuracy and timely deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Research Administration Support

  • Assist with research data collection processing and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance;
  • Provide guidance to departments on research-related administrative matters; and
  • Prepare reports funding application and analyses as required.

Postgraduate Research Support

  • Support administrative processes for Research Postgraduate (RPg) programmes including student enquires document preparation and data management; and
  • Collaborate with academic units to ensure alignment with institutional guidelines and deadlines.

Research Events and Outreach Coordination

  • Assist in planning and organising faculty research events workshops and conferences;
  • Liaise with and maintain clear communication with internal and external research reviewers guest speakers and collaborators;
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely completion and deliverables; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A recognised bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience;
  • Professional fluency in both Chinese and English;
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills;
  • Experience in data collection handling management and visualisation for the purpose of drafting/finalising funding proposals/research is preferred;
  • Self-driven proactive good communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
