Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant ()
The Academy invites applications for the following post for a 18-month health project involving exercise/nutrition/games training programs and testing for the elderly.
The appointees will work on a research project related to exercise/nutrition/games intervention and physical health forthe elderly including but limited to:
(1) Liaise with community/elderly centres for subject recruitmenttesting and training scheduling;
(2) Supervise project assistants instructors and student helpers forproject operation; and
(3)Conduct administrative work for documentation data collection and reporting.
The appointee may be required to work beyond office hours or during weekends occasionally.
Requirements:
Applicant for the post of Senior Research Assistant should possess an undergraduate degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience(preferably in the fields of health sciences psychology or public health) or a masters degree in sports healthorsocial science-related fields. The appointee should be self-motivated and a good team leader. Analytical capability and effective communication skills with a good command of both written English and Chinese are essential. Fresh graduate iswelcomed for the post of Research Assistant who will assist the research team for the aforementioned tasks. They should be self-motivatedand good team players.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 12 months commencing as soon as possible.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
