Job Description
WHAT YOULL DO
We look for a senior quantitative researcher who has expertise in Delta One derivatives quant trading. You will be working on complex high impact projects that will have immediate feedback. As the key member of Optiver Shanghais trading team you can expect to:
- Take the lead in developing new strategies for and delivering improvements to the trading system in the pricing modelling and execution domains leveraging our mature tech stack
- Collaborate with peers to conduct and review research
- Participate in strategic discussions to set the direction of the business

Additionally as part of our team youll need:
- 3 years experience in quant trading on a desk that has been at or near the market dominant position
- Hands-on on top of all the implementation details of current strategies and has the capability to implement the solution end-to-end with some support
- Experience in computationally intensive research
- Quick learner driven team player open minded and eager for success
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Programming experience in Python or C
