Set in 15 acres of lush greenery just minutes from the vibrant Orchard Road shopping belt the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore is a tranquil sophisticated urban retreat whether travelling for business or features 792 luxurious guestrooms and suites across three distinct wings which include unique family-themed rooms supported by a host of dedicated family-focused amenities.

We are looking for aChef De Partie (The Line) to join our team!

  • Manage a specific kitchen section (e.g. Western Asian Cold Grill or Live Station) for buffet and la carte service.

  • Prepare cook and present dishes according to The Lines standards.

  • Supervise and support Demi Chefs Commis and trainees in your section.

  • Ensure mise en place is complete and organized before each service.

  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene cleanliness and safety.

  • Monitor stock levels order ingredients and minimize food wastage.

  • Assist in training junior staff and maintaining kitchen discipline.

  • Work closely with other sections to ensure smooth service operations.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 23 years of kitchen experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Strong cooking skills in international cuisine (buffet or la carte experience preferred).
