The Role
The SeniorEngineeringManager provides tactical and strategic leadership oversight and direction tomulti-disciplineteam members that span multiple concurrent projects. You should have a solid technical andmanagerialbackground provenproblem-solvingskills be a strong technical andorganizationalleaderwithpositiveresults-drivenattitude and be able to demonstrate yourabilitytoworkin afast-pacedenvironment.
What Youll be Doing
- Workcloselywiththe key business customersstakeholders external partners andallgroups within theTechnology organisationto implement evolvesupportand own the software and system components toappropriatequality standards within Blips overalinfrastructure;
- Clearlycommunicateand promote strategies roadmapsdependenciesand plans for products and/or components;
- Own the productlifecycleand beresponsiblefor managingalldeliveryrisks;
- Managealltechnical resources andcapacityplans within budget and project schedule;
- Responsiblefor fostering an open-source mindset and for maintaining strong andcollaborativerelationshipswith other Senior Managers among PPB or other divisions;
- Lead inspire motivate and linemanagean area compose by severalmulti-disciplinesoftwaredevelopmentteams and Managers;
- Coach hold 1 to 1s set and reviewobjectives appraise performance and assistwithcareerdevelopment ensuring effective performancemanagement;

- Responsiblefor achieving and sustaining employeeengagement;
- Serve asliaisonbetween thedeliveryteamand keystakeholder(s);
- Execute plan andmanagechanges asappropriateto meet changing needs andrequirements;
- Continuousimprovementof processes throughautomationof common procedures andimplementationof standards processes and checklists;
- Prioritisealltasks throughoutallphases of the projectlifecycle;
- Foster anappropriatesense of urgency to deliver results at pace;
- Activelymeasure and review theProductivityVelocity Quality and Duration ofdelivery taking prompt corrective action wherenecessary.
What Youll Bring
- Proven track record ofleadingand managing teams on complex software projects;
- Using agile methods for softwaredelivery;
- Workingwithdistributed redundant andtransactionalsystems and the testing of these;
- Managing thedevelopmentof ateamby ensuring that project tasks are in linewitheachteammembers career interests where possible
- BSc in Computer Science orequivalentdemonstrableknowledge;
- Manageeffectivelyateamconsisting of multiple disciplines;
- Stronganalyticalanddiagnosticskillsparticularlywithregard to technical risks issues and constraints;
- Able toleadand motivate others;
- Workwell under time andenvironmentalpressures;
- Demonstrate seniorprinciplesleadingby example in terms ofworkethic andprofessionalattitude;
- Able to projectmanageworkandprioritiseeffectively;
- Excellent written and verbalcommunicationskills (English and Portuguese);
- Teamplayer who strives to maximiseteamanddepartmentalperformance.
