Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an exceptional individual to help us continue expanding our Growth in the exciting Advanced Manufacturing sector which has been identified as a key growth area by the UK Government and the Arcadis Leadership Team. Working closely with our Sector Leader and Sector Business Director for Advanced Manufacturing you will support a three-year strategy by building on this approach and taking it to the market. Working both individually and as part of a well-established team.
This person will have strong client relationships with a focus on securing new and repeat work with existing clients whilst also bringing in new clients to the organisation
This person will be based in one of the regions we have identified for Growth such as Northern UK or the South West
Role accountabilities:
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Develop and implement a market sector growth plan in conjunction with our Sector Leader to drive revenue and raise our brand awareness with a team to target 5m revenue growth across our UK business service lines.
- Drive growth through new clients in the advanced manufacturing sector through existing key client relationships in the industry.
- Contribute to the Sector marketing and communications plan which will include attendance at events development of blogs plus articles as well as bringing your ideas for improvement.
- Create a plan for each client/ opportunity as situations mature that incorporates the best of Arcadis and positions us as the partner of choice.
- Work collaboratively with already established Arcadis Solution Leaders to manage the targeting and tailoring of Arcadis value propositions into commercially viable propositions for the account demonstrating value-creating outcomes for the client.
- Help develop and shape market-facing collateral giving direction to the pursuit and marketing teams in order that we can market ourselves effectively and demonstrate why Arcadis.
- Manage pipeline and feed opportunities into the business line pipeline to ensure an optimal flow of pursuits to achieve set targets.
- Develop relationshipsthroughout Arcadis to foster cooperation and to maximise opportunities to cross-sell always promoting the fittest athlete.
- Develop and leverage a network of enduring relationships across the market identifying client challenges/ needs and positioning Arcadis as a trusted partner who will solve the wants/ needs.
- Ensure compliance with Arcadis business initiatives and metrics including responsibility for Net Order Intake and revenue delivery along with excellent customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX).
Technical Capabilities
- Proven track record of managing large client accounts in the advanced manufacturing sector
- In-depth knowledge of technical disciplines and SME requirements for delivering multidisciplinary teams
- Delivered Project Director roles on complex manufacturing projects
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education at a Bachelors Engineering or Masters Degree
- A Proven experience in Account and client management within a multinational engineering or professional services firm.
- Have a market opinion and personal brand in the professional industry
- Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies to profitably grow client accounts.
- Be able to demonstrate significant leadership capability and the ability to inspire multi-disciplinary teams around a common purpose.
- Demonstrable successful implementation of Client experience at the individual client and strategic level.
- Have a strong network of market contacts both client and supply chain that can be leveraged.
- Led complex pursuits at 5m revenue.
- The ability to strategically plan and implement a strategy.

- Demonstrated experience as a senior sales leader with a strong presence in the market in the country.
- Ambitious mindset and a strong drive to grow the business and meet/ exceed targets.
- The ability to inspire and enthuse pursuit and account teams to bring their best.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and strategic focus with strong commercial drive and decisiveness
