Job Description

Purpose

IDEMIA Public Security is a global leader in identity solutions delivering cutting-edge technologies that enhance security across both public and private sectors.

We are seeking a Senior Manager Finance Accounting to lead our night shift team (10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PHT) which supports our US Accounting this role you will manage a team of 15 professionalsincluding senior accountants and a team leadproviding guidance answering queries and overseeing the delivery of key financial tasks.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to support the Director of the Center of Excellence which consists of a total of 50 team members across day and mid shifts. You will act as her deputy and provide backup in her absence contributing to the overall leadership and performance of the department.

Key Missions

Work Arrangement:

  • On-site presence is required three days per week including Thursdays.
  • You may choose the other two on-site days from Monday to Wednesday.
  • Fridays are remote.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Ledger Management

  • Identify and record all General Ledger transactions (e.g. cut-off accruals provisions payroll taxes).
  • Reconcile sub-ledgers to the General Ledger perform ageing analyses and ensure the completeness and fair valuation of assets and liabilities.
  • Oversee AP AR inventory and fixed-asset ledgers and manage cost-accounting entries as required.

2. Financial Close & Reporting

  • Lead the monthly close for assigned entities preparing the Balance Sheet P&L Trial Balance and variance analyses.
  • Load monthly results into Group reporting tools and respond to consolidation or regional queries.
  • Prepare annual US-GAAP financial statements and statutory filings.

3. Audit Compliance & Controls

  • Coordinate internal and external audits own remediation actions and the annual internal-control self-assessment.
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS/ US-GAAP corporate accounting policies and SOX/internal-control requirements.
  • Provide supporting schedules for VAT and Corporate Income Tax returns.

4. Team Leadership & Service Delivery

  • Manage the night-shift accounting team (15 FTE): staffing training performance management and succession planning.
  • Plan workload and resources define and track SLAs KPIs and productivity metrics and report on performance to the Director of the Centre of Excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability service excellence and continuous improvement.

5. Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and lead standardisation automation and other change initiatives.

6. Consolidation & Regional Support

  • Prepare and submit consolidated regional reports and handle ad-hoc financial requests from stakeholders.

Profile & Other Information

Required profile:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and/or proactively address issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products (above average Excel skills required).Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Understanding of financial terms related to product software development and service delivery.
  • Excellent customer service attitude communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Foster a team environment that promotes growth.
  • Ability to meet deadlines


Required Experience

  • BS in Accounting or Finance; a CPA is required; MBA a plus.
  • 10 years of progressive accounting experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • 5 years of managing an accounting team
  • Experience with a mid to large ERP system MS Dynamics ERP systems (D365 and Great Plains) preferred.
  • Experience with reporting systems TM1 and BFC preferred.
  • Process improvement experience preferred
  • IFRS
